Journey PS3: Review

As mentioned earlier, I had finished Journey for the PS3. The first thing I have to say about the game is that I think it deserves a written review, whether it means anything or not, just because of how much I enjoyed the game. The game is simple enough to understand right away, and is only a short 2-3 hours long, but there wasn’t a point in time where I felt that I had enough of the game. Because of it’s length, the game is able to progress fast enough so that a person wouldn’t feel like they’re “grinding” or playing a filler mission. To emphasize it’s great visuals and seemingly simple story, there aren’t any words used throughout the game. I was very impressed with how much I enjoyed the story despite the fact that there wasn’t any conversation or speech. Like the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, not that you’ll be asked to look at a still picture (for long anyways). I’ll end the “review” here to keep it short and to avoid excess spoilers, but this is a game that I would definitely recommend to everyone. If you don’t have access to a PS3, you can find the full gameplay on YouTube. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea to watch gameplay, but I have gamer friends who found out the option was there before I did. Without a possible cheesier thing to say, go on and enjoy your Journey!
